It’s been a long and – let’s be frank – a challenging year. But, we’re still here and still going strong. Futurlab, the award-winning game studio behind PowerWash Simulator VR was acquired by the Miniclip Group. The indie game studio is a stalwart of Creative Growth Finance and we’re positively thrilled for them.
Audio post-production house and specialist audio advertising agency, Forever Audio came into the CGF fold, joining our ever-expanding portfolio.
Moonraker VFX, another CGF stablemate, was nominated for an Emmy. The Bristol-based VFX studio was nominated in the category of Outstanding Graphic Design in a Documentary for its work on Ancient Earth.
The online racing community platform joined our North of Tyne investment portfolio just last year. They’ve now brokered a multi-million pound acquisition deal with RAFA Racing Club, a Houston-based car enthusiast hub.
Good Boost, a social enterprise providing therapeutic exercise programmes, received a loan from Creative Growth Finance in 2023. The company, which set out to create more accessible options for people living with long-term health conditions, won Supplier of the Year at the ukactive awards.
Distortion Studios grew out of animation house, Studio Giggle who we first invested in back in 2022 through CGF. Earlier this year, the studio launched their permanent virtual production studio in Bristol with ambitions to be a key player in the creative hub of the South West.
CGF investees, Arwen AI have joined forces with Sportradar to deliver a service to elite tennis players that will address online abuse through AI moderation. The cutting edge technology is perfectly placed within the context of Arwen’s mission to make social media a force for good.
