Boost for immersive experiences industry as Moonraker VFX receives £400k funding from Creative UK Investments

  • Moonraker VFX, the award-winning VFX studio with recent credits including BBC’s Earth and Netflix’s Our Oceans has received a £400k investment from long-term partner, Creative UK Investments 

  • The investment will support award-winning Moonraker VFX as it expands further into Location Based Entertainment with major projects like immersive experience, Inside Pop Art

Moonraker VFX, the award-winning company responsible for VFX on Earth and Our Oceans has received investment of £400k from Creative UK Investments. The loan comes from Creative UK’s landmark fund, Creative Growth Finance, run in partnership with Triodos Bank with the aim of growing the UK’s Cultural and Creative Industries. 

With this new funding, Bristol-based Moonraker VFX will continue its expansion into the Location Based Entertainment space, where it has already led the way on projects such as Inside Pop Art and Hong Kong’s first Flying Theatre – Timeless Flight Hong Kong. 

 

Moonraker VFX is best known for its award-winning work on projects such as Our Oceans and Earth, for which it recently won in the VFX category at both the Televisual Bulldog Awards and the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards. This investment is the latest in a series of loans from Creative UK Investments with whom Moonraker enjoys a long-term strategic partnership.
