Following the announcement of Creative England’s partnership with British Business Bank on the Start Up Loans scheme, creative industry enthusiast and finance expert Rahul Misra has joined Creative England as an Investment Executive. He’s on the team to help deliver the programme and to provide dedicated support to new start up businesses in the creative industries.
After gaining a solid professional foundation through 6 years of experience in the UK investment management industry, Rahul switched the context of his skills to his passion for the creative sector – gaining direct experience in creative organisations, most recently as Finance Officer at the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. As part of the Investment Team at Creative England, he brings together his investment management and creative sector experience, focusing on start-up loans and business mentorship for creative people and businesses.
Outside of work, Rahul’s own passion for creativity is manifest through music and audio-visual production – his music has been featured on platforms such as Rolling Stone Magazine India and Resonance FM London.
His passion for the industry in both a financial and practical capacity makes him a crucial part to our Investment team, and a well informed advisor for any creative industry start up businesses.
