The cohort came together for the first time in November 2023 at Newcastle’s Common Room. The group will now embark on a 9-month programme of initiatives to help them clarify their vision, gain sector specific knowledge, obtain tools for making the business sustainable, meet likeminded peers and receive tailored mentoring to prepare for investment.

Our core purpose is to promote education, employability skills, creativity and in some cases, also recovery and rehabilitation to some of the most marginalised groups and individuals in our region. We primarily work with individuals suffering with their mental health, ex-offenders, individuals with a learning disability and/or autism and/or those who are long-term unemployed.
A separate arm of the business specialises in delivering high quality, innovative and cost efficient commercial projects – helping us to achieve our social impact.

We also offer mentoring, shadowing and placement opportunities for those interested in developing careers in the creative industries. We have a strong track record engaging community groups of all ages and backgrounds in our work, from children and young people, to adults with learning disabilities and people with refugee and asylum seeker status.
