Do you have experience of engaging underrepresented groups in the cultural and creative industries?
We value difference and celebrate the creativity that it brings and are committed to improving diversity and inclusion across our organisation and industry by championing a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, identities, talents, and physical and cognitive differences.
Creative UK is inviting individuals to apply to join our newly established Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Group (EDIAG).
The purpose of this group is to provide expert advice and guidance to Creative UK on our approach to supporting and improving equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) across our programmes of activity, driving our ambition to become a more diverse and inclusive organisation.
We are looking for individuals with experience, skills and knowledge to guide us in improving our reach, relevance and impact in support of communities that are underrepresented in the cultural and creative industries. The EDIAG will draw on your knowledge of engaging with diverse communities to enable more people from underrepresented groups to benefit from our services.
This is your opportunity to help re-shape Creative UK’s ambitions within the creative industries to improving access to opportunities that enable creatives and creative organisations to thrive through our programmatic activity.
TO APPLY please send your CV with a brief cover letter and/or 1-2-minute video link* to our Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion sarah.gregory@wearecreative.uk by 12th JANUARY 2024. You should focus on detailing how you can support Creative UK to engage in more diverse, equitable and inclusive ways.
* Video link optional.
Our EDIAG will meet at least four times per year online. Individuals, other than those employed in a sponsoring organisation, will be paid £80 per meeting. If you require support to access meetings, we will be happy to make adjustments by request.
