Debt finance for creative sector SMEs
Our Creative Growth Finance investment fund offers loans between £100,000 and £1m* to post-revenue businesses operating in the Creative Industries. The fund is run in partnership with Triodos Bank and designed to help creative businesses for whom finance can be hard to obtain.
As the landmark fund from Creative UK Investments, Creative Growth Finance’s remit includes long-term strategic support that is delivered by a team with creative sector and investment expertise.
Finance will be directed to post-revenue creative businesses presenting promising growth potential and with minimum annual turnover of £300k. The companies in our fund:

How to apply
Tim has been with Creative UK for nearly a decade and oversees all investment activity at the organisation. Tim has spent the past 15 years helping entrepreneurs to take innovative and compelling creative products to market and is passionate about the power of business as an engine for positive social change.
As an investment lead, Tim has secured over 50 investments across equity and debt, working with over 400 creative companies and supporting three exits.
His key industry focusses are: SaaS, VFX, Games, Agency and TV Production.
Tim’s prior experience includes running his own production company, the management of Creative England’s equity fund and the programme management of the South West Innovation Network programmes.
When not at work, Tim’s main interests are “what madness my son will say next,” sport and technology.
Rahul Misra is Investment Principal at Creative UK. Since joining Creative UK in 2021, Rahul has led investments in creative companies across gaming, animation, immersive entertainment, music, architecture, design and advertising, from across Creative UK’s commercial and impact funds.
Rahul previously worked in institutional asset management, with a focus on investment strategy and governance, where his clients were blue chip and global pension and sovereign wealth funds.
Rahul’s career transition to SME investment happened through his own interest in the creative industries. Alongside finance, Rahul has created his own body of work in music and audio visual production, featured on platforms such as Rolling Stone India and Resonance FM London. Rahul uses his finance experience and investment track record to empower the creative industries, which he sees as a catalyst for positive change.
Nick accrued over 15 years of experience at Film & TV creative agencies before joining Creative UK Investments. During this time, Nick was involved in delivering 170+ international campaigns for Universal, Warner Bros, StudioCanal, Lionsgate and UK independents including releases for Avatar, Rush, Marley, Slumdog Millionaire and Fantastic Mr Fox.
After being an investment manager for his first 3 years at Creative UK Investments, Nick now manages the portfolio team and helps companies with their growth strategies, board infrastructure and debt servicing.
Nick brings with him a deep and first-hand knowledge of Film & TV production and post that helps him to support screen investment clients with industry insight as well as his financial acumen, particularly in the Film & TV, agency and gaming sectors.

Patrick brings a wealth of expertise in origination, underwriting, and relationship management, honed during his career with leading institutions such as Macquarie Bank, Bertelsmann Music Group and SRG Capital.
Outside of work, Patrick enjoys staying active, playing football, and exploring his passion for music. Having lived and worked internationally, he also speaks Spanish and Portuguese fluently and enjoys engaging with diverse cultures.
Nick joined the team as Investment Manager in 2024, bringing with him extensive experience in the corporate banking sector.
He has previously deployed funds for the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund, as well as supporting clients at the likes of Santander, FW Capital and NatWest.
Mike joined Creative UK in June 2024 and is our Senior Portfolio Risk Manager. Mike will act in deteriorating positions, as well as supporting the wider Portfolio and Investment Team with our overall credit strategy.
His role also includes supporting Portfolio Managers, by building meaningful and supportive relationships with portfolio clients. Mike has extensive Risk and Relationship Management experience, gained over a long career within the financial services sector.
Outside of work, Mike keeps active with his family, plays occasional golf, enjoys skiing and loves music.

Hannah’s down to earth approach to business allows her to establish strong professional relationships with her clients and build invaluable communities for knowledge sharing and expertise insight.
In her free time, Hannah is a brilliant actress. Aside from the stage, her happy place is crabbing with her kids in Stoke Gabriel, Devon.
Kris joined Creative UK in January 2025 and is responsible for marketing and origination for the Investment team, with a focus on lead generation. He brings a strong background in B2B within corporate services and investment environments. Kris also supports the wider Creative UK team and its investment portfolio with content and communications.
As a Fine Art graduate, former dancer, and keen gamer, Kris has a broad appreciation for creative spaces. It was this enthusiasm that first attracted him to the role at Creative UK and continues to fuel his commitment to helping creative businesses unlock their potential.
Jackie has been with Creative UK since 2015 and during this time has worked across our Investment and Programme teams supporting creative businesses at various stages of growth. Jackie has helped the development of our investment portfolio which includes over 450 businesses. Jackie is now responsible for managing parts of this portfolio and supporting our investee businesses through their growth journey.
Jackie is our resident Geordie and prior to joining Creative UK, had worked within the games, digital and tech industries across the North East and beyond. Jackie is passionate about the creative sector and the diversity it represents – she enjoys the variety of ideas, stories, collaborations, products and teams that make up the sector.
Outside of work, Jackie is a fully qualified Canine Hydrotherapist, a keen gardener and loves to travel.
Hannah joined the investment team at Creative UK in 2020 and sits within our Portfolio Management team. As Portfolio Manager, she looks after a broad church of creative businesses post-investment, supporting them in their next growth stage.
