Following the global success of Bosena-produced BIFA-winning feature film Enys Men, directed by Mark Jenkin, Bosena has enjoyed a growth in revenues from 2023-24. This has led to successful investment, enabling the team to expand to include the hire of an Executive Producer and a Development Executive. Creative projects continue to draw positive responses from the industry and audiences alike, such as the award-winning documentary A Year in the Field, released in the UK in 2023. The team are also working in collaboration with Screen Cornwall and Cornwall Council to launch Kernow Public Service Media, championing Cornish content for a global audience.

Plans are rightly ambitious for the coming years, with the team gearing up for significant growth. This will include further expansion of the team to enable an increase in production capacity. Applications are in process to the NESTA Arts & Culture Impact Fund, Create Growth Finance, and the UK Global Screen Fund, which aims to expand the team’s international focus on High-End TV production. Bosena is currently in pre-production with a Film4/BFI-backed Mark Jenkin feature, shooting this summer.

With Cornish culture at its roots, Bosena intends to further champion the Cornish language, highlighting contemporary issues and historical narratives, both in its own productions and through collaborations with screen agencies.
