Stranger Collective

Compelling content that stops you in your tracks, from enlightening magazines for global clients to sit-up-and-click web copy that makes words count, Stranger Collective is a creative content studio that thinks differently. Founded by Helen Gilchrist and Clare Howdle in 2004, Stranger has established itself as a creative powerhouse with both national and international reach.

Drawing on its core team and a varied team of freelance creatives, their projects may be as diverse as they come, whether it’s a creative take on an internal magazine for leading software company ARM, elevating the reach of charity campaigns for Surfers Against Sewage or crafting verbal identities for Kodak’s new product lines, the same thing sits at the heart of every project – finding the story and telling it well.

How did Stranger develop over the Programme?

Known for blending its storytelling skills, brand development and innovative approach to creative projects, Stranger Collective is always poised to push forward, evolving and developing its service to meet the demands of brands and the changing face of content.

The team is in the throes of exploring a new product and service, with its goals set on growing the business and setting it apart in the South West’s crowd of marketing agencies. Authentically woven into Cornwall’s heritage and cultural storytelling, Stranger Collective’s insightful work helps to support projects with local authorities, not only through placemaking, but boosting the tourism sectors in Cornwall too.

Their new products will enable Stranger Collective to scale and grow, exporting their IP nationally.
